DeviceWall’s simple interface will be familiar to anyone with experience of network and security management solutions. Administrators simply choose the type of device they want to manage and allocated privileges to users and groups accordingly. DeviceWall can be configured to automatically block any connections not explicitly allowed in the Policy Control Center.

Automatic updates

Once deployed, DeviceWall client agents will automatically call back to the Policy Control Center to check for any new policy updates (the frequency of call backs can be configured by the administrator). As such, administrators do not need to worry about deploying any policy changes, as this will be done automatically.

Where a user connected to the network needs an immediate change to their privileges, the administrator can force an instant update to one or more PCs.

Active Directory support

For those organizations who have already invested in Active Directory, DeviceWall will seamlessly integrate with existing user groups to populate the Access Control List as well as provide full browsing of computers, users and user groups.

DeviceWall integrates with Active Directory to enable the Access Control List to be managed as well as to allow computers, users and user groups to be browsed for deployment of the client service.
