IT Disposal
If you are responsible for your organisation's IT equipment disposal, the correct recycling of your PCs, laptops, servers and other redundant or surplus machines can often be challenging. Since 2005, the Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directives enforce that all electrical and electronic equipment must to be recycled or disposed in an environmentally friendly manner.
Businesses that do not take the Directives into consideration when recycling PC equipment could face prosecution, heavy penalties and bad publicity. We offer you the collection of your assets and the channeling through the correct route to ensure best value for re-usable equipment or the appropriate environmentally legal option for electronic and electrical waste.
Once the equipment has been collected from your site, we then put it through rigorous testing to determine whether the kit can be refurbished and recycled or disposed. If refurbishment is not an option then we erase the data, salvage useable components and dispose the asset in line with the WEEE and RoHS Directives Guidelines.
